概覽 Overview

The BSc(SPSC) & BEd(PE) cross-sectoral double degree programme is a teacher-training programme aiming to equip prospective students with disciplinary knowledge and pedagogical principles pertinent to the teaching of physical education in primary and secondary schools. Through internships and comprehensive training in sports science, coaching and education, students are prepared for diverse career paths and well equipped to excel in both academic and workplace settings.

Programme Features

Equips students with experiential and inquiry-based pedagogical approaches to nurture future learners in developing physical literacy, critical thinking, and a passion for lifelong physical activity through hands-on learning and reflective practices

Articulates sports science and coaching in the disciplinary context of physical education

Provides opportunities for applications through teaching practice, non-educational internship, and final year projects embedded in the programme

Graduates will obtain dual degrees and be eligible for applying as registered teachers in Hong Kong
