概覽 Overview

This cross-sectoral co-terminal double degree programme aims to prepare students to teach science (including Biology and Chemistry) in primary and secondary schools, as well as pursue careers as environment-related professionals. The programme provides a wide range of learning experiences for students to develop scientific literacy, understand the relationship among science, technology, society and the environment, and contribute to science education and sustainable development in the 21st century. Students in the programme will conduct teaching practices in primary and secondary schools, and internships in environment-related organisations. Students can declare their major (Biology or Chemistry) in their year 1 of studies. [Biology and Chemistry major will be offered in 2026/27] Programme Features

Develops firm scientific knowledge and skills through engaging in a variety of learning experiences, such as scientific investigations, outdoor studies, etc.

Masters the ability to address environmental issues from interdisciplinary and multiple perspectives through studying courses in environmental management and engaging in internships

Widens students’ interdisciplinary horizons, enhances their exposure to STEAM-related subjects, and expands their experiences with environmental science

Graduates will obtain dual degrees and be eligible for applying as registered teachers in Hong Kong
